Transformational international research partnerships: What next for Capacity Development?

The biggest challenges facing the world - in water, food, energy, health and climate change - all require international collaborative research and researchers.  Funding schemes such as the UK Global Challenges Research Fund, by supporting the SDGs, aim to establish inclusive global research networks and partnerships through individual and institutional capacity development.

To celebrate the GCRF-GROW cohort and the capacity development work we have been engaged in since 2017, we are holding a day conference to share our experiences and practice. The programme consists of presentations, a roundtable discussion, activities and leadership insights from:

Professor Imelda Bates the Head of The Centre for Capacity Research, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

&

Professor Joy Obando from the department of Geography, Kenyatta University, and BRECcIA Co-Investigator

~~~
As hosts, BRECcIA-GCRF, invite participation from Early career researchers (Masters students, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers); Principal and Co-Investigators and Research Managers who have an interest in exploring and discussing capacity development.
Please register for the conference link at Eventbrite below:   https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/what-next-for-capacity-development-transformational-international-research-tickets-214722389447
